Out of the Depths

from Phoenix by Crossworm

/

about

This is an intro describing one of many meanings to the name, "Crossworm". The words are as follows:

"Out of the depths I peer, scratching and clawing my way out of an abyss of loathing, bitterness and internal pain. Eyes burning I force myself to witness the light above for it brings comfort to a once endless array of sorrow. Locked in a dimension of desolation I struggle wearily to my feet, and look around a shattered world. A world in need of drastic healing. My own world. A voice calls from inside me. A voice of great intensity unknown and unheard before this day. Heeding the command from above through myself internally, I walk the scarred remains of this broken world climbing its cracked and split remains. Planting seed after seed I have begun restructure. Commanding the darkness as I see fit, the shadows coil inside me writhing in disgust as a greener and pure atmosphere begins to form. I am the servant of the creator. I am the cross worm in the dirt."

about

Crossworm Grand Rapids, Michigan

Crossworm is a heathen anti-pop artist.

"Crossworm is almost annoyingly talented. Musician, artist, poet, and essayist, he’s seemingly a potential threat in almost any artistic medium you drop him into.

Crossworm’s music is a strong mix of violent imagery, anthemic chorus’s, introspection and societal critique told from the voice of the proletariat."
